Description
We’re a small Belgian brewery on the grounds of a four-generation-old family restaurant in Damme. We brew classic Belgian styles with a twist, as well as international styles not common in Belgium.

In 2022, we decided to join forces with Hedonis Brewery and start a new brewing site in Michelbeke, in the heart of the Flemish Ardennes.

Draught Good dense head, fast reduced to cream rim and tenacious lace over clear foxy amber beer. Slightly smoked, beechsmoke, "Rauchsalz" (smokesalt), BBQ sauce. Smoked, Rauchmalz, again typically beechwood as used for perfuming BBQ. Sweetness is there, marked, but nowhere imposing. Quite slick, even oily; medium carbonation, medium bodied certainly. Mild, but quite pleasing Rauch. 7/4/7/3/15

Draught Good, very fine yellowish head, fast gone into lacerings over fully cloudy orange-yellow beer. Intense, terribly inviting fruity-citrussy hops’ nose; lemon/limepeel, bit creamy notes too. Bitter, lupulin, citruspeel (from lime going to grapefruit), kafir lime. Despite low OG, good maltbacking lending just-no sweetness. Seems quite well-bodied, obviously creamy feel and body from the rye, preventing emptiness. Low carbonation. The perfect thirstquencher indeed! I do not like seeing this qualified under speciality grain. The rye is the bodybuilder, but nowhere the dominating tastefactor. This is - as the brewery itself indicates - a session ale; 8/4/7/3/15.

Bottle from De Hopduvel. Hazy dark amber/light brown colour. Smokey nose, no peat but typical German smoked malt. Taste is light sweet, light fruitiness along with subtle smoke. Smoke is not too intense. Very drinkable. Good beer.

Thank you for sharing Antwerp Untappd Crew! Sampled draft @ Swafff 2017! Hazy murky orange, overly so with some off-white head. Nose is milky grain, yoghurt, very milky with strongly cheesy hop. Milky bodied, thick. Weirdly sweet with milky odd plastic, cheese, oddly sweet, too milky, sweet, Amarillo is all cheese, not a big success for me.
