Appearance: Opaque deep brown to black with a one finger tall ivory-coloured frothy head of decent retention. Aroma: Roast, peat, bacon, insulating tape, dried dates and figs, oak barrel, some hop. Taste: Light sweet and bitter. Roast, peat, bacon, insulating tape, dried dates and figs, oak barrel, hoppy ending. Mouth feel: Medium to full body, soft to average carbonation. Summary: Nicely done.

Appearance: Opaque deep brown with a small beige head of medium retention. Aroma: esters, raisins, dried bananas, dates and figs, caramel, toast, toffee, hop. Taste: medium sweet and medium plus bitter. Massive dried fruits, esters, caramel, toast, sherry, citrusy hop. Hoppy ending and aftertaste. Mouth feel: Full body, appropriate carbonation. Summary: Powerful and good.

Light sweet, bitter and hot. Chili in the aftertaste. Mouth feel: Medium minus body, soft to average acrbonation. Overall: It;s OK but not my kind of stout.

500ml bottle. Pours clear gold with a medium-sized white head. Aroma is malt, pleasant herbal hops. Taste is light sweet, malt, bread, hops. Light to medium bitter finish. Light bodied.

Can 33 cl. Dark brown beer, dense and persistent coffee foam. Aroma: sweet, full of pleasant vanilla and bourbon, sweet, caramel, chocolate, milk toffees, some coffee, toasted coconut, creamy, good! Taste: a little sweet, a little rough bourbon, alcohol, toffee, a little vanilla, chocolate, cream and bready. Good aroma but taste is weaker.

Bottle. Dark amber with bronze colour, clear, ivory foam. Aroma: sour, but moderate, caramel, esters, dark dried fruits, berries, prunes, red wine. Sour taste, winey, berries, a little caramel and dried fruit, not bad.
