Description
Diamond Bear Brewing Company was founded in 2000 by Russ and Sue Melton with the mission of providing Arkansas and the region with a beer of their own. Diamond Bear was Little Rock’s first production brewery in 15 years. The name "Diamond Bear" comes from the first two nicknames for Arkansas. Initially, Arkansas was called "the Bear State." But in 1905 when diamonds were discovered in Arkansas, it was changed to "the Diamond State."

Can shared in London. Cheers to Tanner Rennet42! Pours clear brown with a big, fluffy beige head. Lightly sweet with notes of toasted malts, a little milk chocolate, soft roast, toffee. Light bodied with average carbonation. Sweet finish, toasted biscuits, malts, brown bread, hot of cocoa. Simple, tasty.

Can. A- Grains. A- Gold color, clear liquid, white head. T- Grains, mild lemon, wheat. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, bland finish. O- A bit pilsner like. Not bad, lots of grain and sticky fruit. Didn't love it but it drank easy with some buffalo tenders.
