Appearance: Opaque deep brown with a small beige head of low retention. Aroma: Cocoa, roasted, esters, starch, some hop. Taste: As described above. Light sweet and bitter. Mouth feel: Light to medium body, average to lively carbonation. Summary: Pretty commercial.

Bottle via Tesco. Med-thin body, med-high carbonation. Did not expect fusel alcohols in a big brand Tesco beer, but here we are. Slightly medicinal, boozy. The hops character seems subdued by med-light oxidation. There is a grassy zesty citrusy aroma, which does not continue into the flavour very much. Generically fruity flavour, but more as a result of fermentationgoing wrong. Average.
