330 ml bottle. Pours a muddy dark brown with light head. Aromas of dry dark fruit, plum skins, soft caramel and wheaty malts. Flavors follow same but a bit dull.

33cl bottle at home. Poured murky brown in color, not much head. Honey sweet with light raisiny notes. Not nearly as malty as BW usually are. Sherry like flavors, but works in this beer.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought online @ Het Biermoment. Dutch brewery #554. Dark brown with an off-white head. Dark caramel, red and dried fruits in the aroma. Sweet taste with a nice malt bitter finish. Warming and thick-bodied; a solid doppelbock

33cl Fles, staat al een tijdje stof te vergaren. Dank nog, Sjogro! Donkerbruine kleur, beige kraag. Bier had haast om de fles uit te komen. Metaal, roest, bruine suiker, gagel, caramel, rozijnen, erg zoet, bitter van de gebruikte kruiden, nog meer metaal, heel licht zuurtje. Flink geoxideerd en fors teveel CO2, bijna ondrinkbaar door het hoge koolzuurgehalte, onprettig mondgevoel.

Cloudy datk brown appearance with thin head. Not super roasty or malty but there's good hop bitterness. Quite leafy and piney.

Geprobeerd met LiekevdV, Sander, Kim, Roelzie, Thom, Rik en Juul op het Nederlands Speciaalbier festival in Den Bosch. Het is een troebel lichtbruin bier met een dun laagje schuim. Het heeft een hoppige geur. De smaak is vol, hoppig en wat wrang.
