Black with no head. Woody aroma. Flavour starts with dark malt bitterness. Starts out a bit thin but develops slowly. The whisky element grows and the peat too but also vanilla. Finish is all Laphroaig. Very good.

Bottle at home. Dark orange golden color, average sized white to off-white head. Smell and taste are malts, sweetness, sweet apples is something that comes to mind oddly enough, a bit sugary even. Decent body and carbonation. Okay.

Flesje gekregen van Tomhendriksen en thuis gedronken. Oranje bruin bier, heftig schuimend tijdens inschenken waarvan een witte schuimkraag overblijft. Aroma is moutig en een beetje gistachtig. De smaak is moutig, bloemig en wat fruitig. De nasmaak is kruidig en licht hoppig.

Bottle. Color: Copper, yellowish off-white head. Aroma: Dark fruit, raisins, Rum, malty. Taste: Sweetish, malty, dark fruit, raisins, Rum, booze, herbal and spicy notes, hints of caramel, honey and light hints of nuts. Over medium to full body, below average carbonation. Medium sweet, light to average bitterness. Quite smooth mouthfeel. Long lasting sweetish and bit boozy finish. Nice overall, but a little bit monotonous, could have had some more complexity in my opinion.

Bottle at home, black beer, small beige head. Aroma is malt, roast, fruit, sweet. Taste is the same, bittersweet, fruit, roasted malt, some alcohol, sweet, molasses sweet syrup, dry almost tart aftertaste. Not bad but has a meh aftertaste

Fles gedeelt door Roelzie1986. Het is een troebel donkerbruin bier met een volle beige schuim. Het heeft een BarleyWine achtige geur, met tonen van gedroogd rood fruit. De smaak is moutig, gebrand, gedroogd fruit, zoethout en basterdsuiker.
