Very well-made Helles Lager, offering up plenty of grainy malt and floral hops with grass undertones and layered lager esters. Finishes with a nice mix of bread and noble hop bitterness. Gorgeous gold pour with a thick white cap and endless lacing. Crisp lager texture makes for a great pint. Good beer.

My rating probably owes more to my general distrust of White IPAs than the beer itself, but I just can't summon much love for this stylistic offshoot. Lemongrass and lime leaf adjuncts add a citrus undertone, but the bitter, piney hops take away from the grassy subtleties and gentle sweetness you want from a well-rounded witbier. Traces of clove mix with citrus and a clingy hop back end, with yeast and herbal notes popping up in the fade. Pours well, and the nose has a nice mix of grass and clove and hop, but overall not my thing.
