Description
The history of the Joli Rouge brewery begins in 2011, when Yann Gangneron and Sandrine Foubert bought an old building. In Toulouse, they had started brewing as an amateur, at home, before the success of their production with their friends made them want to take the plunge towards professionalization. We were lucky to be able to buy back the equipment of the “La Flibuste” brewery, in the Gers, which had just closed. We befriended the former boss, who kicked us in. And then, we were well received by the people here, the municipality and the population. Their economic model is that of the short circuit, since they work exclusively with local partners for malt, and Alsatians for hops. We work with an organic micro-malt house from Tarn, "Le vieux Silo". We are sure of the quality, we buy according to our needs, and above all we listen to each other, we show solidarity in the event of a problem, in trust and not in business. It costs us more to purchase than with industrial suppliers, but it is a real step to protect small local producers.

The Joli Rouge brewery produces beers that vary according to the seasons and the brewer's desires. So all the recipes produced by the brewery are not necessarily available at the same time. There are always two types of beers available at the same time (except out of stock ;-)) hop beers with a green label and flavored beers with a red label.
