On tap. Pours a clear copper. Small white head with it. Aroma is a touch soapy (possibly from the line). Caramel and toast. Taste is a bit hoppy for a marzen, but the bitterness doesnβt linger. Sweet toasted caramel and malt notes with it. Thin, bubbly mouth. Pretty good Marzen.

Sample at Freetail Brewing Co in San Antonio. This brew is a mostly clear yellow color with a medium thin white and creamy head that diminishes steadily. Stringy lacing. Aroma of yeast and bananas with floral touches. Light body with flavors of sweet malt, yeast and spices along with a bit of floral hops and honey. The finish is clean and sweet, leaving behind citrus and banana flavors. Pretty good Hefe all said.

Growler shared by cdumler. Thanks! Pours a very hazy orange peach color with minute particles floating in the beer. Large head shows great retention and light mottled lacing. Aroma of strong yeast and bread with spice and light fruit notes. Taste is yeast, dough, earthy spices, cotton candy and light fruits. Medium bodied.

On tap. Pours with a hazy gold body under a large, foamy white head that leaves good lace. Aroma of orange, clove and vanilla...Nothing special for a hefe. Taste wise though, this is a good beer! Vanilla overtones over a creamy banana foster and light clove body. Great drinking stuff. Lively bubbles, and water like mouthfeel.

On tap. Pours a muddy, deep brown body and a cream off-white head with some lacing. Aroma of brown sugar, banana esters, toffee and a bit of alcohol and spice. Taste is spicy yeast, vanilla, bananaβs foster and honey roll. A bit watery for the perceived alcohol. Lively bubbles, slightly warming, water like mouthfeel.

On Tap. Pours with a hazed orange body and a thick, creamy, long lasting head with sheets of lacing. Aroma of spicy and orange hops (seems like Amarillo and simcoe to me). Some caramel backbone. Taste is light fruity hops, a bit of caramel and cereal with a citrus hop finish. Light carbonation, water like mouthfeel.
