12 oz. bottle from Julio’s Liquors. Nearly clear gold color with thick lasting head, good retention. Nose is thick pale malts and grain. Flavor is assertive malts giving a creamy texture for sure. Flavor is vanilla, honey and biscuit breads. Simple and clean. A nice throw back beer that is spot on for the style. If you want to introduce craft beer to your father or Grandfather, this would be a good starter.

12 oz. bottle from Julio’s liquors. Paid $2.29 before Wild 6 discount. Nice buy! Cloudy gold in color with thin spider web lace down the side of the glass. Nose is vibrant floral hops with a touch of pine. Flavor is sweet pilsner malt and a bit of sugar up front with the floral hops being in abundance in the finish. Dry texture with good carbonation. This is really nice in a bottle which means it’s a home run on draft. Real nice surprise here, as I had no expectations.

On tap at the source. Comes to the table a reddish brown with a nice long lasting off white head. Smells of caramel and burnt sugars with a nice shot of dark fruits. Little to no hop aroma. The flavor is rich and malty with lots of sugary dark fruits and a rich melanoid and prune bit. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet almost bubbly mouthfeel. Nice dark lager, really nice actually.

On tap at the source. Comes to the table a light golden almost amber color with a small quickly disappearing head. Buttery caramel and light bready malt with barely enough hop aroma to balance the sweetness. Light bready pilsener malt flavor with a small shot of spicy hop bite. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet mouthfeel. Decent light pilsner brew but needs a bit more breadiness.

On tap at the source. Comes to the table a clear amber/red color with a huge long lasting off white head. Huge garlic, green onion and pine aroma with a light grassy and bready character thrown in for good measure. The flavor is bready up front with a solid hit of onion garlic and pine resin and a little bit of diacytyl. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet resinous mouthfeel. Decent brew a bit one dimensional, but great fro getting your hop on.

On tap at the source. Comes to the table a lightly hazy medium golden color with a smallish off white head that leaves lots of lace on the way down. Brown sugar and brown bread make up the bulk of the aroma with a light earthy hop and light fruity ester providing balance. The flavor is sweet up front with a solid shot of sugary caramel sweetness. Light earthy hop and light fruit round this one out. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet almost syrupy mouthfeel. Decent brew, I could drink it, but would choose something else first.

On tap at the source. Comes to the table a crystal clear pale straw color with a solid white head that leaves lots of lace. The aroma is light sugar with a bready hint and spicy floral hops to balance. The flavor is light sugar with a solid spicy hop bite and low hop bitterness. Medium body with a moderate to high level of carbonation and a slick bubbly mouthfeel. Decent enough brew but not my favorite of the night.

On tap at the source. Comes to the table a crystal clear medium golden color with a solid white head. The aroma is spicy with pepper and clove and hints of yeast bread brown sugar and juniper. The flavor is light brown sugar below lots of earthy spice with pepper and clove and hints of gin spices. Medium body with a moderate to high level of carbonation and a slick bubbly mouthfeel. This one is different thats for sure, probably not something I would get again, but I’m glad I tried it.
