Cask @ Gaslight Brewpub, South Orange NJ (July 2025). Commemorative beer for Hulk Hogan who had passed away days ago. Cloudy brownish red with a large creamy beige head, caramel aroma, low carbonation, medium bitter caramel malt taste with faint piney flavor, smooth body, long smooth finish. Very smooth red IPA.

Crowler from the brewpub. Pours faintly cloudy dark yellow with a very small frothy off-white head that flops fast, faint malt aroma, low carbonation, minimally caramel sweetish malty taste with faint alcohol undertones, thin body, long sweetish finish with some alcohol aftertaste. A bit boozy and lacking flavor.

4 oz draft. Flavor has mild toffee like malt with a soft citrus pop. Bitterness is low. Body is kind of thin. Not bad just needs a little more of some sort of backbone.

Flight at the brewery. Pitch black color with a long lasting beige head. Good lacing. Light roasted malt, caramel, and brown sugar aromas. Tastes more like a foreign stout to me. Not a fan. Very tangy roasted malts. Thin body, a little watery. Disappointing.

Flight at the brewery. Pitch black color with a small khaki head. Almost no aroma. A very mellow porter with limited roasty characteristics. A porter lite? A little molasses in the finish. Medium body and medium light crispness. Low bitterness.
