5.3/10 Appearance 4 Aroma 6 Flavor 5 Texture 6 Overall 5
Location: Draft at the Brewpub, 3/19/11

Aroma: The nose is sweet and fruity, apple mostly, with other sweet notes too
Appearance: It pours a clear golden-orange color, with a white head
Flavor: Light, sweet flavor, lots of apple with spice and yeast as well, but overpowered by the apple
Palate: It is easy drinking and smooth, a little watery, but not too bad on the mouth honestly
Overall Impression: This one is not particularly exciting, but I guess it would be good for the sweet beer fans out there.

6.4/10 Appearance 6 Aroma 7 Flavor 6 Texture 6 Overall 6.5
Location: Draft at the Brewpub, 3/19/11

Aroma: The nose is tart and fruity with notes of yeast, earth, and wood
Appearance: This one pours a clear light brown color
Flavor: Tart and fruity like the nose, plus sweetness, a little earthiness, wood, mild spice
Palate: Medium bodied, a little cloying on the mouth, tingly, with a softish carbonation
Overall Impression: This stuff was fairly solid. I don't have too much to say beyond that, it is not bad but not great either...

Location: On tap at the Brewpub, 1/3/10, as Gaslight Warrior ESB

Overall Impression: Looks like I forgot to get this one in with the rest of my Gaslight reviews...
From the notes: This beer was alright, nothing too special, just a decent ESB. Mostly malty flavors, some caramel, some brown sugar, and maybe a light fruity presence.

Location: On tap at the Brewbup, 1/3/10
As: "Dog River Organic Pumpkin Ale"

Overall Impression: A fairly standard, not boring, and not exciting, but certainly drinkable pumpkin beer. Had some spice/nutmeg to it, and a decent enough flavor, just not particularly exciting.

Just added this one, so I'll be the first to rate it as well.

Location: On tap at the Brewpub, 1/3/10

Overall Impression: An attempt at a hoppy American Pale Ale. This one was pretty decent. I like this beer. Even though I liked it, I'm not sure that it's well enough made, or multidimensional enough to rate much higher then this. Its almost an IPA, but they were going for a Pale, so I'll categorize it that way.

Aroma: Aroma has lots of spice, cherry, some nuts and caramel
Appearance: Hazy amber color with a tan head
Flavor: Taste is mostly spice, malts, and sweet fruit
Palate: Medium body with a nice mouthfeel
Overall Impression: I like this beer, it was a nice Old Ale. A nice, and even a bit adventurous, winter seasonal for a small brewpub like this one.

on tap-pours a thin off white head and copper color. Aroma is vinegar, fruit, apple, medium malt. Taste is vinegar, fruit, apple, medium malt. OK enough hit and miss and miss and miss. I’ve assigned the detractors off to “yeast” many times even after I didn’t think so.

060129-on tap-pours a creamy light red head. Color is clear red. Aroma is strong raspberry. Taste follows, malt. This doesn’t come across as a beer to me, but my wife enjoyed it.
