Bottle. Pours clear black, small tan head, decent lacing. Aroma is light, roast, bourbon, cocoa, vanilla, oak tannin, molasses, toffee. Flavor is medium plus sweet, medium bitter. Full body, creamy. Considerably better than Underbird, which on its face would seem quite similar. This one is just better integrated.

Bottle. Pours clear black, small tan head, good lacing. Aroma is ashy molasses, earth. Cocoa, hints of bourbon. Flavor is medium sweet, medium bitter, a bit sharp, earthy. Molasses. Fullish body. Under barreled.

Bottle thanks homer; pours black, medium brown head, good lacing. Aroma is roast, cocoa, tannins, molasses, bourbon notes. Flavor is medium sweet, medium bitter. Medium body. pretty good.

From a can. Pours a clear copper with an off white head. Aromas of pine. Flavors are bitter dank hay.

Bottle. Pours opaque black, medium dark brown head, dissipates leaving good lacing. Aroma is bourbon, molasses, dark chocolate, vanilla, a bit earthy. Flavor is medium sweet, light plus bitter, not hot. Foolish body. Solid effort

On tap at Intuition, pours a deep dark amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out earthy spicy peppers upfront, with a bit of cocoa. Flavour is along the same lines, with earthy spicy peppers upfront and dominating. A rather earthy spiciness to this gives this is a unique character. Interesting one.

On tap at Intuition, pours a clear amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of perfumey dry hops and toasted biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with a rather jagged mix of dry hopping and bready malt. Not sure what they were going for here, but it's not very cohesive.

On tap at Intuition, pours a deep dark mahogany with a tiny beige head. Aroma brings out caramel, rye whiskey barrels and bready toffee. Flavour is very sweet and boozy, with lots of rye whiskey barrels, caramel and toffee. Very sweet and jumbled. Not convincing.
