500ml on tap at Gunners Pub in Belgrade. Pours hazy gold with a medium-sized white head. Aroma is mango, grass, pale malt. Taste is light to medium sweet. Light bitter finish. Medium bodied.

Black pour with a small red thin, tan head which dissapears reasonably quick. Aromas of malt, nuts, cocoa/chocolate. Taste is nuts, roasted (almost burned) malt, vanilla, some sweetnees/sugar. Quite a harsh, sour finish. Doesn't really work for me.

Optisch typisch "hazy" und goldocker mit kräftiger, feiner Perlage. Die weiße, feinporige Schaumkrone gibt sich dabei cremig-fluffig, sehr stabil und langlebig. In der Nase dominieren kräftige, grasige, reif zitrusartige, tropisch fruchtige bis patchouliartige Hopfennoten. Der Antrunk kommt frisch, feinrezent, leicht hell- bis zart karamellmalzig und duftig, leicht floral bis fruchtig (reife Zitrusfrucht, tropisch), patchouliartig und leicht herb Hopfenaromatisch. Der Körper zeigt sich mit mäßiger Fülle, sehr feiner Rezenz, seidiger bis leicht samtiger Textur und zarter Trockenheit. Auf Zunge und Gaumen machen sich die bereits erwähnten Aromen breit. Über der zarten, hellen bis leicht karamelligen Malzbasis tummeln sich die bunten Hopfenaromen, die duftig, floral, fruchtig (reife Zitrusfrüchte, tropisch), aber auch ätherisch anklingen und, wie bereits erwähnt, relativ stark an Patchouli erinnern.Dazu wirkt eine leichte, grasige bis bittere Hopfenaromatik. Abgesehen von der doch relativ dominanten Patchoulinote, die ich persönlich eher weniger mag, zeigt sich dieses Hazy IPA doch recht ausgewogen, ansprechend und gut komponiert. Auch wenn man die Drinkability in meinem Fall als "gehemmt" bezeichnen muss, kann ich mir vorstellen, dass diese für Menschen, denen Patchouli genehmer ist als mir, durchaus in entsprechend hohem Maße gegeben ist. Daher will ich das gar nicht als allzu negativ in meine Bewertung einfließen lassen. Im Nachtrunk wirkt die Gesamtaromatik grundsätzlich schön nach, reißt dann aber doch nach 10 bis 15 Sekunden urplötzlich ab.

330ml can via Beer52, brewed and canned by The Garden Brewery (Croatia). Drank at my brothers in Devon on 20th May 2025. Black with a tanned top. Sweet and marshmallow like, malty and nutty, strange brew really.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A glossy black pour with a fast fading tan head; oddly biscuity aroma with some chocolate; sweet and thin in the mouth with some vanilla and hazelnut; and a harsh bitterness and watery finish. Disappointing.

Dark brown to black, small brown head. Aroma is roasty and sour cabbage. Smooth texture, light carbonation, cardboard, ripe fruit, dark chocolate, brown bread, roasty. Very likely infected. Tart, dry finish.
