Copper color, small steady off-white head. Grassy hoppy, and a bit grainy and caramelly nose. Flavor is similar: caramel, grassy hops, grains and some alcohol in the finish. Boring, nothing about XMas.

Bügelverschlußflasche: Clear, copper to amber coloured, rather quickly collapsing fluffy off-white head; light to moderate sweetish dark-malty nose with a tinge of vegetables; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; moderate sweetish dark-malty finish with a certain bitterness in the aftertaste. Not so bad.....

Clear dark reddish pour. Sweet aroma of brown sugar and spruce. Roasted malt and sugar taste. Sweet, but smooth. Rated 2/12/05

Bottle@ HBF 2010. Label: Weisser Hirsch. Pours hazy yellow with a medium white head. Aroma is fruity, very light flavor of wheat and vanilla mostly. Not very interesting, too watery.

500ml Bottle - Brown with some amber tinges. Fruity aroma with raisins, caramel and malt. Fruity and slightly tangy taste with dried fruit, caramel, malt and some nutty elements. Nothing too exciting, but it’s easy to drink.
