On tap at Sam’s Diner, San Francisco. It pours an almost clear body, amber in color, and with an off-white head. The aroma is rather piney, with some caramel. A bit one-dimensional maybe. Caramel, bitterness and green pine cones in the flavor. Full body, pleasant carbonation. Mostly bitter finish, with a little caramel and dark bread. Overall, a quite nice one, but I’d like a tad more complexity. 130804

Draft @ SF Beer Week Opening Celebration 2013, Concourse Exhibition Center, San Francisco, CA. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a white head. Has a fruity malty grainy light hoppy aroma. Fruity malty spicy yeasty flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty weak hoppy finish.

Tap at Capital Beerfest 2013. Pours hazy gold with an off-white head. Light earthy aroma. Med minus body. Flavor is earthy and light pitted fruit. Finishes that way.

Dark blond colour. Strong ’green’ hop aroma. Really dry, bitter finish. Has quite a thick feel.

Draft at the Bistro West Coast Barrel Aged Beer Festival. Pours very dark brown/black with a ruddy tan smear. Lots of vinosity for aroma. Full bodied. Flavor is chocolate,oak, smooth burnt malt and a good dose of red berry. Has a sour aspect. Very tasty.
