Thanks to Bierkrug for this treasure! Cloudy golden, stable eggshell head. Maize, lemonny rubber aroma and hight quality bandaid. Fairly grainy base, maise, sugar, old nuts an almonds, chemical notes, slightly weird fermented byproducs, also some herbal hops though. Sticky mouthfeel, leaves a sickly sweet residue on the tounge. I must say I dont quite recognize the beer Per and Michael describe.

An Iraqi beer who have travelled a long way through the desert to reach me. I must admit not to have expected to much from it. It has deep golden colour, not soapy yellow as in my prejudices. Fruity aroma. Surpisingly it has chewy maltiness and crystal malt character. It is clean, medium bodied and medium sweet, and finishes with low bitterness. Actually a tasty and well made lager.
