Thanks to Erzengel for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, dark brown, nice head. Fine malty aroma. Starts malty, roasty, modest dry. Light earthy hints. Modest sweet. Finish could be more balanced. Nice.

50cl bottle, euro swap 3/2017, thanks Erzengel! Poured unclear deep golden color with a thick white head. Murky looks. Earthy, cellary, grainy, dusty aroma. Sweet grainy, earthy, yeasty notes in flavor. Pleasant drinkability. Bit light overall.

50cl bottle, trade with Erzengel, many thanks! Labeled as Wasgau Bräu Kastanie. Poured deep mahogany with a thick dense off white head. Lovely loooks. Malty, bready aroma, molasses and mild nutty notes. sweet bready malty flavors, some nutty, roasty notes. Long finish, near full bodied.

Bottle as "Wasgau Bräu Kastanie". Many thanks for this beer to Beerhunter111. Pours an unclear amber color. Smell is a bit malty sweet. Surprisingly not excessively sweet but refreshingly malty and caramel.
