Description
The very first brewery of Les Brasseurs’ family, is now the meeting spot of people from Geneva as well as tourists. Its location in front of Cornavin train station is ideal for a break at any time. People are welcomed with a smile in warm atmosphere of traditional brewer. Our Geneva’s brewery is a not-to-be-missed place. Philippe, its director, has been working with the same authenticity for over 20 years.

From tap. Pours hazy orange. Small off white head. Aroma is slight yeasty, mild fruity. Floral, sweet, estery to yeasty. Mild bitter. Bubblegum. Medium dry and slight fruity finish.

On tap the at the brewpub. 20/07/2015 one day after the Etape du Tour. Lausanne.Served with lime :-( Pale yellow coloured pour with a fading white head. Aroma iszesty lime, floral, perfume, kafir lime. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, sugary, straw, lime zest, juniper. Palate is semi sweet, medium light body, ,ediu, low carbonation. Too much lime.

On tap the at the brewpub. 20/07/2015 one day after the Etape du Tour. Lausanne. Pale yellow coloured pour with a frothy white head. Aroma is nice clean pils grains, straw floral hop. Flavour is semi crisp, , pils grains, dry, grain tannins, floral notes. Palate is dry and crisp, moderate carbonation. OK.

On tap the at the brewpub. 20/07/2015 one day after the Etape du Tour. Lausanne. Hazed yellow / straw coloured pour with a thin halo off white head. Aroma is classic wit yeast, wheaty doughy cereal and some orange peel. lemon. Palate is bit thin, highish carbonation, dry finish. meh.

On tap the at the brewpub. 20/07/2015 one day after the Etape du Tour. Lausanne. Light amber / orange coloured pour with a light haze and a creamy off white head. Aroma is light caramel, toffee apple, belgian yeast, light spices and orange rind. Flavour is composed of light chalk, light toffee, belgian yeast, woody, grain tannin. Palate is medium sweet, moderate carbonation.

On draught at the Brewpub, Geneva. Light brown, incredibly cloudy. Wood, ylang-ylang, cinnamon aroma. Refreshing bittersweet taste. Short finish. Forest floor and perfume aftertaste. Odd but oddly moreish.

Slightly cloudy amber colour, minimal off-white head; aroma of malt, honey, some yeast and floral notes; taste is fully dominated by malty-sugary sweetness with some earthy notes - too sweet...and extremely expensive...

Draft sample @ Brasseurs de Genève. Cuivrée, col léger blanc-cassé. Arôme agréable de malté caramel, toffee avec une pointe de fumé perçant en rétro nasal. Houblons restent noble ajoutant un petit bouquet fleuri et fruité typique des bières belges. Palais garde un côté assez doux et une fine note collante aux lèvres. Fruité noir avec un petit rappel de figue voire de raisin sec et pruneaux. Amertume perce en toute fin de bouche apportant une amertume modérée. Impression de sucre candi et ce côté épicé de Speculoos - cannelle? Solide, et ma préférée des 5 goutées lors de ma visite. Bière orientée vers une triple, avec un abv que je mets vers les 7%.

Draft sample @ Brasseurs de Genève. Ambrée sur un léger toruble, col blanc. Arôme offre un bouquet prenantn, de moût au rappel malté caramel, houblon perce en rétro avec qcq ajout noble et un fruité modéré. Palais est centré sur les malts; caramel avec cette impression agréable de toffee et un léger sucré résiduel caramélisé + qcq notes de malt crystal foncé. Pointe houblonnée offrant une petite touche citronnée amer en fin de bouche. Solide sans être trop transcendante. Une des deux plus solide de leur sélection avec la DouBBle B.
