A yellow beer with a huge white head. The aroma is malty and slightly hoppy as well as sour. The flavor is malty with notes of corn - which gives it a sourness and a dry end.

Bottled. Golden colour, with minor white head. Malty and buttery aroma. Strong malty flavour with a hoppy peak. Good one to drink on a hot day, but otherwise nothing that special.

An amber beer with a huge off-white head. The aroma is sweet, and lightly spicy as well as malty. The flavor is sweet malty with some metal alcohol notes and a dry end. Too much alcohol - not hidden well enough for me.

Bottled (1998 version, rated 2006). Pitch black colour, small beige head. Aroma is slightly acidic plumy and malty. Flavour is quite chocolateish, but has lost most of the other stuff the more recent ones have had. It’s almost close to getting called watery. (6 4 5 3 11)
Bottled (2000 version, rated 2006). Dark rubyish brown colour, small beige foamy head. Aroma is roast, a bit of plum and malts. Flavour is plum, roasted malts, some Madeira-wineish hints. Just lovely, and most likely by it’s primetime. (8 4 8 4 16)
Bottled (2005 version, rated 2005). Dark brown/black coloured, big creamy brown head. Roasted malt and old coffee in aroma. Flavour of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, old coffee and a bit hops. A bit smokish aftertaste. Smooth palate. (7 4 8 4 15)

Canned. Fizzy pale golden, rich but brief head. Artificial lemon aroma. Very sweet with strong offputting flavours of rotting vegetables and lemon extract. Thin, sharp mouthfeel. Achingly sweet, sticky finish. Just when you thought that it was not possible to pour something into Pripps Blå that could make it worse they come up with this. It makes me look forward to Pripps Blå Autumn (a warming autmumn beer with a refreshing taste of dog shit).

A dirty orange beer with a disappearing off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with some hop notes, while the flavor is malty with notes of caramel as well as some burnt notes giving it a dry end. Can’t tell this is an ale - where is the fruityness?

Bottled. Dark red/black colour with brownish head. Not much aroma just weak sweetness of raisins(?) and coffee. Malty kind of caramellish flavour (like coca cola with no carbonation and sweetness).
