Amber colour. Spicy rye with some caramel. Spicy, slightly chewy rye note. Good balance. This showcases the rye very well. It’s a good session beer, definitely on the easy drinking side of things, with just a moderate level of bitterness.

Slightly hazy. Very floral and spicy in the aroma with a slightly footy yeast note. Fresh, wheaty palate with a herbal accent. Bitterness is light, finish sweetish and refreshing.

Growler, throwdown. Attractive rub copper with a big foamy head. Grapefruit and resiny with a cookieish malt background. Long hoppy bitter finish.

Draft at brewery. Pale yellow, cloudy. Light lemon nose and flavors. Wheaty and zesty. Semi-dry finish is almost empty. Unremarkable but drinkable.

Draft at brewery. Really dark almost opaque but shows a red-orange at the edges. Creamy head. Barely smokey with notes of coffee and roasted malt. More smoke in the flavor though, generally dry esp at the finish. Deeper into the glass a piney citric (very cascadey) hop came out, which was unexpected but it worked.

Draft at brewery. Deep garnet color. Good firm head. Heavy caramelized nose, dark sweet malts. Alot of chocolate and sweet malts in the flavor. Pretty much a big sweet porter but for the touch of ashy roast in the finish.

Draft at the brewery. Cloudy copper. FIrm creamy head. Aroma lightly hoppy - resiny and lightly citric. Pretty strongly bitter. Malt is firm and gives some body but there’s not much flavor from it, its just there - bready if anything.

Growler. Yellow golden with a big fluffy head. Aroma is initially of a grassy Britishy hop but gives way to a buttery corny malt. Flavor is mostly the clean buttered corn malt, very light, just a hint of spicy hop around the edges. Finish has more bitterness than you’d expect, almost because the malts are so empty near the finish that all that’s left are the hops.
