Bottle. Hazy orange amber, golden head. Aromatic citric, sweet peachlike and earthy hop aroma. Sweet fruityness, caramel, salts, heavy on the candyish citra. Chewy full body, sparkly mouthfeel, slightly sticky. A bit muddled in the direction they wanted to go I think: Seems like a mix of a british and american style IPA to me. Nice with a assertive hoppy beer on the german market of course.

Süffig herb-malziger Beginn, in dem eine süßliche Rauchnuance hintergründig gefällt. Im Mittelteil röstig, wenig wässrig. Dann gering bitter, zum Ende kommt eine angenehme Schokoladennote auf. Trockener Nachgeschmack. Insgesamt gelungen! 8/9/9/11/10/9

Bottled@omhper. Amber colour, small head. Aroma is fruits, mild plum, alcohol and some slight yeastyness. Flavour is alcohol, sweet malts, mild wooden notes as well as some rather hoppy notes. Mild yeastyness in the finish. All in all a pleasant Barley Wine.

Bottled, thanks gnoff! Hazy copper colour, minimal head. Aroma of vanilla and caramel. Sweet and soft withfull body. Lots of vanilla and oak, custardy caramel. Warming cottony finish. Mellow, yet potent. Excellent barley wine.
