On tap at Magnolia, pours a clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma is pretty light, with some toasted malts and cracker. Flavour is very bland, with crackery malt and some English yeast. Pretty lifeless and boring - though nothing offensive. It's okay.

On tap (sample) @ the brewpub. Weird name for a Baltic Porter. "Black" color (was hard to see in the dim light). Aroma’s: roast, a bit of coffee, some bitter chocolate, also umami/soy sauce and a hint of fruit retronasal. Flavor is like drop, medium sweet, hard roasted, somewhat acidic. Body is rather full. Finishes roasty and medium bitter. Best beer of the evening.
