Description
Founders Javier Aldea and Sami Claret have quite an out-of-the-ordinary corporate philosophy: they’ve been brewing beer without a brewery of their own – rather, they’ve been travelling the world as beer nomads and produced their creations together with craft-beer buddies elsewhere.
Now their idea has been given a home, so to speak – and the beer nomads have settled down a bit, because since 2018 the Nómada beers are being brewed in the pilot brewhouse of Mahou San Miguel's Alovera facility. This alliance with Mahou San Miguel (with a stake of 40% in Nómada) is intended to help the brand focus more closely on the Spanish beer market.

Draught at MBCC. Green Session. filmy layer, fair lacing, hazy yellow-gold body. Herbal hops on the nose added by a touch of citrus. Succulent taste of lemony hops and juicy malts followed by drying fruity bitterness. Smooth on the swallow. Good drinking. (Copenhagen 13.05.2017).

0,33l bottle at home. BB 12. January 2018. black color, medium big coffee-colored head. smells of coconut, bit buttery, lightly earthy, light sweetness, doughy, lightly toasty. quite nice smell, a bit on the artificial side though. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of coconuts, bit buttery, some bitter chocolate, bit earthy, light vanilla, nutty, some toasty notes. finishes lightly bitter with notes of coconuts, butter and some vanilla and bitter chocolate notes. Overall I like it. A bit gimickie and a bit one sided balanced, but still very enjoyable.
