Description
Founders Javier Aldea and Sami Claret have quite an out-of-the-ordinary corporate philosophy: they’ve been brewing beer without a brewery of their own – rather, they’ve been travelling the world as beer nomads and produced their creations together with craft-beer buddies elsewhere.

Now their idea has been given a home, so to speak – and the beer nomads have settled down a bit, because since 2018 the Nómada beers are being brewed in the pilot brewhouse of Mahou San Miguel's Alovera facility. This alliance with Mahou San Miguel (with a stake of 40% in Nómada) is intended to help the brand focus more closely on the Spanish beer market.

Pitch black pour, visibly thick, with a thin and very fine-grained beige head that gives way to a sticky lacing. Molasses, milk chocolate, roasted malts, cocoa, a bit of coffee and some bitter cherries. Super smooth texture with low carbonation and a bitter-sweet and perfectly balanced aftertaste.

42nd Floor Tasting. Thanks to Paul. Light haze on this yellow - gold beer, lots of blobby stuff bobbing about, most attractive! Palate is light and semi dry with modest carbonation. Slightly tart fruits accompanied by salt and herbs. Soapy saffron is in there but thankfully not dominant. Tart fruits return before a smooth and semi dry finish. Out there!
