33cl bottle from Getränkefeinkost Berlin. Pours hazy pale orange with a white head. Very fruity aroma with lots of oranges and other sweet citrus fruits. Notes of yeast and pale malt too. Fairly dry, fruity and refreshing. Bitter, but balanced finish. Quite delicious!

33cl bottle at Meisterstück. Pours hazy orange with a lasting white head. Delicious fruity and hoppy aroma with citrus, pale malt and hints of spices. Moderate sweet, hoppy and flavourful with a nice bitterness. Delicious!

Vom Faß bei Heidenpeters, Markthalle Neun, Berlin-Kreuzberg. - Braunorange, sehr trüb. - Geruch hefig, leicht zitrusfruchtig und mit süßlichen Salbeinoten, wie ich sie von Salbeibonbons kenne. - Antrunk zunächst süßlich-hefig mit kräftiger Salbei-Note; gefolgt von einem säuerlich-herben, krautigen Einschlag, der sehr penetrant wirkt und das Bier bis in den Nachtrunk hinein dominiert. Mild rezent, fast schal, weiches Mundgefühl. Der Abgang ist säuerlich und schroff krautig, der Nachtrunk sehr lang mit schroffer, „grüner“ Bitterkeit. - Recht unausgewogenes Gebräu, diese Mischung aus Bier und Kräuterbonbon. Ein Experiment oder tatsächlich „verbockt“? In meinen Augen eher letzteres.

On tap at Hopfenreich, Berlin on 24th July 2014. Hazy gold with thin off-white foam and scant lacing. Sweet fruit and yeastiness in aroma. Sweet, fruity liquid with citrus, ginger and spice notes. Tangy finish. Full body and zingy mouthfeel.

On tap at brewpub on 24th July 2014. Hazy amber with thin whitish film and part lacing. Grapefruit citrus and lemon zest aromas. Richly citric yet pleasantly rounded in-mouth. Sweetish citric/fruity finish. Zingy mouthfeel and medium body.

On tap at FdB 2014 Smooth, nicely hopped, fresh. Easy to drink, citrus, pine. Nice, smooth and malty.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, golden colour with a big and loose foamy off-white head. Fruity hoppy aroma with notes of ripe and slightly stenchy citrus, grapefruit, accompanied by mildly bready malty notes and caramel. Slightly bitter and delicately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Soft and delicately bready cara-malty base with present fruity hops, including flavours of citrus, grapefruit and a touch of pineapple; quite balanced malty and fruity hoppy finish with a good bitterness-sweetness ratio. Pleasant. 30.VI.14

Draught. Orange amber with a thin white head, good lacing. Aroma is raspberry. Flavour is soft fruity sugar, dry hop on a chewy base.

Draught. Dark brown with a tan frothy head that quickly disappears. Aroma malt and a little acidic fruit. Flavour is dry malt, some dark fruit with a bitter chocolate finish. Chalky on the lips.
