Dumpy brown 33cl rip-top bottle, best before 29 July 2010. Drank and reviewed after watching England lose to Germany in the World Cup, Sunday 27 June 2010. The beer was poured into two ’Veltins’ pilsner glasses. The whole experience was mid-pilsner/lager. The non-smell, the bright, clean, clear golden body and fast leaving snow white head all shout out ’Germans Pils’ to me. Not as dry as some and sweeter than most, but still just an average beer for the style. Ideal for a sunny hot day (like today), but not a beer I will seek out again.

Bright yellow colour, small head. Aroma is stale with some malt, corn and hints of butter. Flavour has malt, corn and hints of butter. Palate is a bit low on CO2. A helles below average.

Bottle 330ml.Clear medium to dark amber (cola) colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate cola, cola syrup, brown sugar. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average duration, cola, malty, light toffee. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120318]

Bottled (from mein-biershop.de). Reddish amber colour, mediumsized slightly off-white head. Aroma is coca cola, coffeine, and some mild wheat. Flavour is coca cola, syrup, mild wheat, some slight yeast and mild notes of caramel. Not that bad for a beermix.

Bottle at a tasting. Thanks Dagan. Clear golden with a bubbly white head. Sugary grainy aroma. Sweetish cereals flavor. Finishes with some bitterness. Light-bodied.

Bottle. Pretty chesnut colour actually, fluffy amber head. Aroma is a weird clash of spicy and slightly phenolic weissbier and the caramal spice and phosphoric acid of cola. Flavour gets dominated by the cola, weissbier yeast lurking in the background. Sweet sticky, not as refreshing as I would like it to be right now. Meh.

Bottle. Pale yellow, no head, big bubbles. Very light pilsnerish aroma. Light lager, thankfully also light lemonade. A bit sweet lemon, a bit bittering hops, thats it. Bubbly mouthfeel, medium to light body. Artificial lemon aftertaste.
