Can ordered from Left Field Beer. Clear amber. Thick foamy white head. Aroma has light resin bitterness over caramel and malts with a citrus sour edge. Flavourwise the resinous bitterness is more pronounced and dominates. Still a sour edge and a pinch of spice. Underlying light malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-average carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Easy drinking Westie.

A golden and hazy beer, a head is big and blond. Aroma has grapefruit, pine, some mangos. Taste has grapefruit, pine, some herbs, also bitterness. Medium bodied. Good beer.

Sample courtesy of BeardedAvenger, many thanks Mark! Style #200. Dark brown colour, afew bubbles on top and aroma of rye, malt, molasses, dried fruits, earthy, herbal hints. Taste is sweetish, rye, malty, caramel, toffee, dried fruity, with citric hop, spice, booze, and earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, low carbonation, drying rye boozy bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.
