(bottle, 75cl, bb: end November 2017) Hazy, golden colour with a blond mid-sized foamy head. Sour, almost vinegary and citric nose, showing notes of infection. Moderately sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a prickly carbonation. Slightly grainy malty base with vaguely hints of caramel, strong citric sour-fruity notes, lingering into the sour-tart and restrained bitter finish. 7,- € per bottle, not really a bargain! 16.X.17

Flasche (750ml): Deep golden, hazy, creamy stable and lacy off-white head; sourish-malty nose with a herbal-hoppy background; moderate bitter-sweet flavour with a slight acidity, medium bodied and astonishingly soft; lingering sourish-malty finish, some bitterness in the aftertaste. Not sure, if it was really intended, but I got a feeling that this swill could be the first Sauerland Gebirgs Gose...

Many thanks to Erzengel for sharing! A slightly hazy orange golden beer with a mid-sized most good lasting beige head. aroma of mild grainy malt, red malt, some fruits. Taste of reddish malt, caramel, mild bitter hops, some red fruits.

Sampled from 0.75 l bottle from a book shop in Dortmund, best before October 2017. Slightly hazy, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, malty and a little grassy aroma of caramel, straw and hints of vegetables. Moderately sweet, malty and a little grassy taste of caramel, grains, straw and hints of vegetables, followed by a short, slightly bitter, moderately grassy finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay!

Bottle shared with Zlotta and Koelschtrinker. Trübes goldenes Bier mit einer großen weißen schaumkrone. Geruch ist minimal säuerlich, fruchtig, süßes malz. Geschmack ist leicht säuerlich malzig, rotes malz, würzig hopfig, naja.

Süßlich getreidiger Geruch und Antrunk. Von dort an herber werdend, die Getreidigkeit bleibt mindestens konstant. Die Getreidigkeit bleibt rund, mild würzig, süffig. Okay. 9/9/8/9/7/9

Bottle from a bookshop in Dortmund-Hörde. Smooth grainy nose. The beer starts fresh and grainy, a bit rough, watery hints. Smooth but slightly grainy bitter aftertaste, very dry, refreshing with a grainy and somehow strange sweetish malty aftertaste, dry bitter. A bit rough and unround.

Bottle from the Museum’s shop. Grainy nose. The beer starts malty with bitter hints. A bit unround with a strange bitterness over a malty body. The yeast is dry and dusty, bitter, not too easy to drink. Rough aftertaste with bitter malts and grain.

0.33 l bottle from ’Käse-Deele’ (Hagen), bottled in November 2016. Slightly hazy, golden yellow with a white head. Sweetish, malty aroma of caramel, honey, butter and vanilla. Sweetish-malty, grainy taste of caramel, straw, honey, butter and vanilla, followed by a short, slightly bitter finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay.

33cl bottle. Fast klare goldgelbe Farbe, geringe weiße schaumkrone. Geruch süß malzig, Gewürze, muffig. Geschmack muffig, süß malzig, würzig. Naja.
