(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, amber colour with a short and off-white foamy head. Slightly toasted malty nose with notes of caramel, hints of chocolate and subtle berry-fruits, backed by herbal hops. Bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Slightly toasted malty base with caramel, subtle fruits and drying herbal hops, especially towards the bitter-sweet finish. Likeable but not to be compared with the famous Altbeers from Duesseldorf. 09.VI.18

Many thanks to Erzengel for sharing! A hazy amber beer with a mid-sized good lasting off-white head. Aroma of mild resinous hops, pine, caramel. Taste of intense bitter resinous hops, pine needles, red malt, caramel, long bitter finish. Good!

Many thanks to Erzengel for sharing! A almost clear deep amber beer with a mid-sized most good lasting white head. Aroma of reddish malt, caramel, some resinous hops. Taste of resinous hops, pine, caramel, grains, mild bitternss, nothing special.

Bottle from Biermuda. Grainy malty beginning. Easy to drink, fresh but hints if dust in the back. Moderate malty bitter aftertaste with floral hints, a bit dusty but round.

Bottle from Biermuda. Malty dry nose. The beer starts fresh with a nice round malty body. Hints of fruity bitterness in the back, very subtle and fragile in aroma. Deep and malty, the bitterness is moderate, round and dry in the end with lots of dry malts and hints of fruit. Very nice balanced and deep.

Flaeschchen: Golden, hazy, persistent, but small white head;; sweet pale-malt and mild herbal-piney hops in the nose; mild to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, soft at first sight, but still accompanied by a certain tartness, nearly medium bodied; slightly lingering malty and herbal-piney finish. Bottle: Light amber coloured, not completely clear, small and stable white head; sweetish-bitter malty-fruity nose, mild - but distinctive - hoppy background; moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; lingering drier malty-fruity finish. Not bad, but all in all a bit too sweet...
