Can thanks to Big Dave. It pours clear dark amber with a small white head. The nose is earthy, toast, cocoa, charred wood, light smoke and grapefruit. The taste is wood, resin, caramel, smoke, citrus peel, toast, toffee, date and raisin with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Not a whole lot to it. Alreeeet.

This one has some roast, some fruits and a bite of alcohol also. Bitter honey. Feels sticky and sweet - but accompanied with fresh hop bitterness. Bourbon barrel feel comes out as well. Long, warming bourbon aftertaste. I like it.

Dark brown color. Lots of bourbon, chocolate and oak. Too distracted to give a proper review, but a decent brew.

2014 RBWG Grand Tasting. Brown body with tan head. Big bourbon aroma that takes over as the predominant flavor. Too much bourbon, maybe there was a great beer here.

Bottle shared by Gene at RBWG grand tasting, thanks! Pours a clear amber with a brown hue and a yellowish brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has lots of dark grains with bourbon and vanilla and a bit of roasted malts underlying. Flavor starts with dark bread and roasted malts but grows in sweetness with vanilla and bourbon.
