Tasting at Oakes' Manor, bottle
Cloudy red-brown colour, dull and dirty, with non persistent head. Smells like ass, and berry jam. Highly carbonanted, smooth, a bit vinous, some grape acidity, a bit astringent (Brett?), bitter grapefruit.
Good.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy dark amber with a small white head. Aroma brings out pithy red fruits, light oak, and a touch of wild yeast. Flavour is along the same lines, with tart red fruits, oak, and light wild yeast. Nice use of fruits, and quite complex - but certainly nowhere close to the hype of this stupid brewer.

Hazy, light golden-straw colour. No head. Nice brett on the nose, with earthy pedio notes. Some sweetness up front, then fading into tartness, light vinous note, and a touch of leathery brett. Nice complexity. Drinkable, refreshing, excellent quality.
