On tap at the brewery. My notes were sparse on this one, but I remember it being bready and malty. Lightly chocolaty, but low on the roasted malt and bitterness. Some treacle and light dark fruit. It kind of lacked the roasted bite that most stouts have at the finish, which is usually a good thing IMO, but I actually was craving a bit more roast than this one delivered. Not bad though.

On tap at the brewery. It pours a dark brown color with a khaki/tan head. The aroma is rich and malty with lots of caramel, butterscotch, earth and a touch of smoke. The flavor is the same. Very rich on the palate with butterscotch, malt syrup, earth and smoke. Quite complex and very satisfying. It has moderate to strong sweetness that belies the relatively low gravity. I appreciate the attempt at a style that we don’t see around here very often. I enjoyed it.

On tap at the brewery. It pours a lightly hazed yellow color with a white head. Unfiltered Pils! The aroma has lemongrass and melon hop notes with a clean bready malt backbone. Some hints of peach candies. The flavor has some flowers and lemongrass notes with a hint of melon. Super low bitterness with a soft and velvety texture. Maybe could be a bit crisper and snappier on the palate, like their other lagers, but I’m really digging the flavor and texture.

On tap at the brewery. It pours a lightly hazed pale yellow color with a white head. The aroma is bready with very light pepper and maybe a hint of rubber. Distant apricot notes. The flavor is peppery and bready. It has a silky texture with a little tart apricot fruit in the finish. A bit full bodied for the style, but pretty good.
