Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours hazy light gold with a white head. Aroma of white grape and tropical fruits and mild citrus. Med minus body. Flavor is very lightly bready with tropicals and a touch of spice. Flavors are firm, but not a strongly flavored beer. Lake beer for sure.

Draft. It pours a very pale yellow color with a small white head. The aroma has bright notes of white grape and passionfruit. Very faint crackery malts. The flavor is the same. White grape with lots of passionfruit. Mostly pale malts with maybe a hint of creamy biscuits. Low bitterness. They manage to get the best of the Nelson hops here with all of the fruitiness and none of the onion/diesel notes. Good job.

On tap at Temescal. It pours a lightly hazed yellow color with a white head. The aroma is big and spicy with some foresty notes, wood and grass. Hints of earth and citrus. The flavor is grassy and spicy with some herbal, woody citrus notes. Background peach and stone fruit. Very low bitterness, but there is a lingering earthy tang in the back of the mouth. It has a smooth, velvety body. Overall, a bit odd, but satisfying.
