Tasting at Ryan's, can
Opaque brownish colour, the head disappears quickly; medium malt depth, sweet without being extremely thick, some vanilla.
Not bad.

16 oz. can, pours a cloudy dark amber / mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma brings out big bourbon barrels, dark fruits, caramel, and bready malt. Flavour is boozy and barrel-heavy, with lots lots of bourbon, caramel, and bready malt. The bourbon barrels are beautifully situated, expressing a rich base beer. Excellent.

On tap at Ghost Town, pours a clear amber, tiny beige head. Aroma brings out toasted bready malt, light-medium brett funk, and a hint of fruitiness. Flavour is on the fruity side, with a sort of white wine tang, lightly tart red fruits, a touch of brett funk, and bready malt. There's a bit of a bitter astringency on the finish. Unusual, but I think this works. Good stuff.
