Can from Bine & Vine. Pours very dark brown with a foamy tan head. Aroma of coffee and vanilla. Mostly coffee. Med body or so. Flavor is coffee/espresso with some vanilla and dark fruit. Not all that dry. Burnt malt bitter. Really tasty.

Draught at Gourmet Haus. Orange aroma slightly hazed yellow-gold with minimal white head. Taste is freshly squeezed juice. Smooth and light mouthfeel. Very refreshing.

Good porter, a bit sweet but with enough roast and bitterness to balance out the caramel and vanilla notes. Undercurrents of raisin, espresso, and anise, with a deep, toasty finish. The sweetness grows a tad much as the pint warms, but never gets cloy. Nice.
