Lots of good things about this beer. Mild scotch flavour, clean and semi complex, a bit light on the body to be great. Oaktoberfest

Bomber from Monument in Concord, CA. Pours brassy gold with a large foamy/frothy off-white head. Aroma of citrus/pine, and there seems to be a trace of bergamot. Med + body or better. Flavor is rather malty; nice hop for balance. So flavor is caramel/citrus/pine and some hints of tropicals. I'd pick pineapple for some reason. There's no acidity, but it makes me think of that fruit. Rethinking that - doubling down on pineapple. Very smooth and tasty ale.

Bomber from Monument in Concord, CA. Pours dark brn/blk with a huge foamy/frothy dark tan head. Aroma of smooth dark treacle with some chocolate. Full bodied; smooth. Flavor is earthy dark chocolate with lots of dark malt. The bourbon and wood aren’t “fresh”, but not musty either. Sort of a tongue tickling sensation. I think the oats are definitely present. Good stuff.

Bomber from Monument in Concord, CA. Pours dark brown with a transient yellowish head. Aroma is mildly smoky, somewhat bourbon, and rather malty. Med + body. Flavor is sweet, very lightly smoky, and definitely with bourbon and some wood aspects. Not at all dry. Bourbon and wood seem to stand in for malt. A few spicy notes. Definitely not a lake beer!!!!!!!!!!

Bomber from Monument in Concord, CA. Pours hazy orange tinged gold with a large, foamy white head. Aroma is tropical with some other parts I can't break out. Med body at least. Flavor is tropical with some mild supportive caramel. Juicy. Dry enough. Quite hoppy. Nicely bitter, but not at all harsh. I'm going with melon, passion fruit and citrus. Just rollin' the taste bud dice there. Lots of flavor bits and pieces in this stuff. And per the bottle label, they rotate the hop blends from batch to batch! Whoo hoo!!!

Bomber from Monument in Concord, CA. Pours coppery gold with a large foamy/frothy off-white head. Aroma shows slightly roasty malt first, then there's citrus pine. Almost an APA aroma. Med body. Flavor matches the aroma. Blind taste I might call it APA - but it's very much old school IPA. Dry despite the malt. Hoppy and bitter. Even a hop bite/burn. Good stuff. Blast from yesteryear.

Bomber from Monument in Concord, CA. Pours dark, transparent brown with a large creamy/foamy beige head. Light fruity aroma with some malt. Med body at least. Flavor is mixed: dark malt; a touch of smoke; a bit of chocolate. There's some semi-dark fruit as well. Tasty stuff. Not dry. Not quite moderately bitter - but it's bitter. Malt doesn't rule this entirely. Decent drink.
