Pint can pours with a totally opaque deep dull straw gold body that supports a light tan head of foam that leaves behind some spotty lacing. The aroma offers up tangy tropical notes like guava, mango as well as peach and apricot. The taste delivers near intense notes of tangy juicy guava, mango and papaya getting into tangerine, lime and cantaloupe (?). Wow. Rich deep and somewhat intense to the point of sharp tanginess providing a minor counter to the sweet soft juiciness.

12oz can pours with a deep dark mahogany colored body that supports a thin tan head of foam. The aroma offers up chocolate, some marshmallows and molasses drizzled dark roasty malts. The taste delivers velvety smooth dark chocolate goodness nuanced by thin marshmallow notes. The chocolate just keeps flowing as dark roasted to slightly burnt malts try and take over the experience. Really nice rich sipper with only a mild sense of the ABV.

12oz bottle pours with a dark mahogany colored body that supports a thin tan head of foam. The aroma offers up blueberry, molasses, wheat and prunes. The taste delivers silky smooth sweetness in the form of molasses, blueberries and plums. To midway a ribbon of sweet wheat and spicy black strap molasses bubble to the surface. This comes together beautifully. Great sipper.

Sample from crowler during the Hoppinβ On Deck 3 tasting on 10/05/2018. Hazy dark orange color with a medium bone white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Partial rings of lace. Aroma of herbal hops, tropical fruit and malt. Medium to full body with flavors of resiny hops, melon, citrus and bready malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a lingering fruity hop aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Pint can pours with a murky opaque dull pure gold body that supports a dirty white head of foam. The aroma offers up pineapple, papaya, guava, a bit of tangerine and then clementine citrus juice. The taste delivers a blend of bitter grapefruit and pineapple with tangelo juice and a bit of tangerine tanginess. This achieves a tasty blend of bitter, juicy and soft fruity hoppiness.

Pint can pours with a clear pale gold body that supports a thin bright white head of foam. The modest aroma offers up pils malts and then thin breadiness and melon. The taste delivers smooth sweet pils malts and pear like sweet fruity esters. To midway sweet bread greets vague bitter hops and a melon note. Solid crushable pils.

12oz bottle pours with a deep dark body that supports a micro thin ring of short lived bubbles. The aroma offers up loads of chocolate leading to vanilla and dark roasted malts and finally whiskey booze and a touch of boozy heat. The taste begins like drinking a velvety dark chocolate bar coated thinly with sweet vanilla. Yes. To midway it picks up dark roasted malts and a thin molasses to caramel sensation. Riding alongside all of those rich decadent flavors is a thin haze of whiskey and booze. Somehow this has maintained a formidable mouthfeel even after some barrel time. A splendid sipper. Oh yeah. Wow.

Poured up on tap at the brewery where it exhibits a murky opaque dull pappery gold body that supports a thin white head that leaves behind spotty clumpy lacing. The aroma offers up a load of inviting tropical fruitiness with papaya, mango and guava with a sense of strawberry in the background. The taste delivers punchy modestly bright notes of tangy tangerine, mango, bitter grapefruit and then more mango mixed with guava to midway. It picks up thin strawberry from time to time. Really nice refreshing bitter hop forward brew.
