Can split at L6 tasting, thanks to Fergus, 02/03/23. Black with a tan cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is chocolate, mellow roast, dark malts, caramel. Taste comprises roast malts, spice, light smoke, charr, cacao nibs, liquorice. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced kiss of alcohol. Okay impy stout.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Nosferatu. Pours mostly clear yellow-gold with a small, foamy white head. Light to medium sweet flavour with notes of white grape, melon, tangerine, low bitterness, pale bread. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Finishes sweet and fruity, more melon and white grape, nips of strawberry, ripening citrus. Novel, tasty stuff.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from 1001 Beers. Pours clear honey-gold, lightly effervescent, with a creamy, slightly off-white head. Light to medium sweet flavour with notes of bready pale malts, some pine, plump tangerine, melon, soft rindy bitterness. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Finishes with notes of white grape, more tangerine, nips of pine, mild rindy bitterness. Not bad overall.

Can at the flat in Sofia - picked up from 1001 Beers. Pours lightly hazed matte gold with a big, fluffy, pure white head. Light sweet flavour with a little lemony tang, subtle funk, some pale wheat flakes, nips of grapefruit pith. Light bodied with lively carbonation. Alright finish, somewhat clean, more citrusy-lemony accents, dried wheat. Pretty decent overall.

Light sweet flavour with mellow bready malts, tangerine, low bitterness, nips of melon, golden raisin. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet kind of finish, fruity, more citrus, low bitterness. Easygoing.
