Pine Box Rock Shop, Brooklyn tap: pours golden with a white head. Aromanis slightly grassy and slightly sugary. Taste is bitter and grassy. Slightly sweet finish.

Yay new NY brewery tick. Tap at draught 55. Pour light gold almost pale lagerish looking. Nose is tropical fruit and wheat. Tastes of wheat, yeasty, mango, guava, peach, some grassy bits on finish. Thin but pleasant body. A summer brew

32oz growler I picked up at Shoreline Beverage pours a mostly clear gold with a ring of creamy, white head. Nose started out a bit trashy but got a bit better once you dig in a bit, wouldn’t be surprised if this was heavy on the Galaxy, lots of mango and guava, some honey, quite floral, some tangelo. Flavor has more of the wit character, some mild spice, some bubblegum, tropical fruit, honey, some apricot, white grape. Clean finish. Interesting, maybe a shot more bitterness to round out the sweet notes.

Draught @ Albion. Clear yellow with small white foamy head, slight floral hops aroma, high carbonation, lavender flavor, medium finish. Not a typical, hoppy IPA.

The Sampler, Brooklyn tap: Had this at the release party... well it wasn’t that much of a party when I was there, but it was still the first day that it was released. Anyway, it pours a hazy gold with a white head. Aroma is light fruity hops, hints of a pice, and a very noticeable bready wheat malt backbone. Taste is lightly hoppy. A bit fruity. The finish is nice and malty, but in a refreshing way. Pretty good.
