16.9 oz bottle. Pours a super light, almost orange color with no head. Semi sweet malts on the aroma. Really light in body and flavor. One thing I can say, this beer drinks super easy. Not enough flavor here, but the very little there is isn’t offensive by any means. Picking up the hints of hops in the finish. Not a bad lager. I prefer this over many other import lagers I’ve tried.

14/9/2014 - 500ml bottle from a store in Moscow that stocks various imports. Like with most Armenian beers there are two bottle/label types: one for Armenia and one for the export market. This is the export version: the bottle says (in Russian) "Erebuni Beer, Light Pasteurised". ABV is 4.8%, gravity is 14%. Pours transparent gold with a very small head. Light hoppy and slightly herby aroma and flavour. 3/3/4/3/6 = 1.9 //// Re-rate 24/07/2016 – Still a 500ml green bottle but this time the design is fancier. Pours clear gold with a small white head that disappears fast. This time, however, there is some lacing. Aroma is straw, herbal hops, grain. Taste is slighlty sweet, herbal, and malty. Slight bitterness. Not that bad. 2.7

Pours clear gold with a small bone white head that fades away very fast. Skunky, malty aroma, smells a hell of a lot like Kilikia. An average euro lager.

Flaske delt på RBHD-samlingen hos Asle Bjørn: hurra, et nytt land! Lys og med kort skum. Litt smørmalt/diacetyl blander seg inn i den beskjedne humlearomaen. Drikkbar, men "with characteristic hop bitter and expressed malt taste" er en betydelig overdrivelse.

Shared 50 cl green bottle at local tasting, 4.5% ABV. Pale golden colour, low white head. Strong aroma of grass, candy and butterscotch, but not unpleasant. Bland flavour, not much of anything, a little grassy hops in the finish. Forgettable.

Clear, pale golden. Quickly disapperaing white head. Sweetish aroma with flowery hops and butterscotch. Similar taste. Not too bad. A bit waterish.

Every country outside of the old historical ’beer belt’ and outside of the States has its own national mass-marketed lager and usually little else when it comes to beer, and this is the one from Armenia. Crisp with thin mouthfeel, grainy with some corn-like, even a bit sugary sweetness (something I utterly dislike in pale lagers) and light spicy but brief hop bitterness in the finish. Drinkable.

Strongish Armenian lager with snow white head, golden colour and thin malt sweet taste, bit lightstruck aroma, grassy hops in an otherwise rather thin finish. I had worse in this style, I must admit.

Getrunken auf einer Kaukasusreise im Sommer 2014 Ein einfaches, karges Bier, das nichts falsch macht, aber auch nicht viel ist.
