About
Brouwerij De Vriendschap werd in 2013 opgericht door Aart van Bergen en Peter Harms. In eerste instantie maakte de brouwerij gebruik van de brouwfaciliteiten van de Sallandse Landbier Brouwerij in Raalte. In de loop van 2014 opende de brouwerij haar eigen brouwerij in de kleedkamers van het voormalig sportpark De Melkweg. Eind 2015 begon Aart van Bergen zijn eigen brouwerij Walhalla Craft Beer. In 2016 staakte Peter Harms zijn brouwactiviteiten.

Draft at Arendsnest. Pours cloudy golden with a white head. Citrus, malt, light tart fruit, flour and grain. Flavor is light moderate sweet, little bitter and sour. Light medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle shared at Dean’s Technicoloured Dream-Shorts Tasting thanks to Deanso. Pours cloudy orange with an off white head. Aroma of melon, peach, citrus and mango. Flavor is over light sweet and moderate bitter. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle from Biernavigatie, BB April 2016, large sample. Hazy dark orange to amber color, big rocky off-white head. Aroma of ginger, caramel, citrus, bit grassy. Spicy in taste, medium sweet, slight bitter. Caramelly and spicy. Ok.

Draught@In De Wildeman, Amsterdam. Amber colour, mediumsized white head. ARoma is fruity, floral, wooden, toffeeish and some mild funky notes to it as well. Flavour is quite similar, but also has quite nice spices and a bit of alcohol to it. A bit gluelike as it warms up. Not exactly a tripel, and not a saison, but more of a gluelike Belgian Strong Ale.

Clear medium amber, average loose frothy off-white head, diminishing slowly, good lacing; sweet malty aroma, grain, toasted, caramel, candy sugar, dried fruits; taste medium sweet, light bitter, malty, bit sugary; medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, aftertaste sweetbitter, roasty and light spicy notes, some alcohol; not a Tripel, not a Saison, but a decent ale.
