Description
Perhon Panimo on Helsingin vanhin toiminnassa oleva pienpanimo, joka toimii opetuspanimona. Oluita ovat valmistamassa oluentekijöiden lisäksi kokki- ja tarjoilijaopiskelijamme.
Panimo on perustettu vuonna 1995. Ensimmäinen oluemme oli Perhon Rohkea (Amber ale), joka on edelleen valikoimissamme. Sen lisäksi kokeilemme rohkeasti erilaisia reseptejä. Kausioluet kuuluvat luonnollisesti valikoimiimme.

Draught@SOPP. Hazy orange color, small white head. Sour, wheaty, barnyardish aroma, some vegetables too? Horrible sour, vegetable flavor with some notes of wheat. Grassy hops in the aftertaste. Perho house flavor? I want my money back ....

Dark brown color, no head. Sweet caramelly aroma with juniper and light smoke. Sticky standard sahti. Molasses, juniper ... very sweet, some alcohol in the finish. Very much in style but very thick too. (Re-rated in 2009, similar taste).

Draught @ravintola perho. Dark rubyish brown colour with small beige head. Aroma is sweet and acidic vinegary. The flavour is also a very sour thing. I didn’t find anything of the honey and coriander in it, just a weird sweetish sourness along with some malts and hops. Not very pleasant brew...

Draught@Ravintola Perho, some of the last tanks for the season. Dark rubyish redbrown colour, with slight hazyness. Head was bigbubbly, slightly off white which disappeared fast. Sweet roasted caramel malts with some cinnamon and clove. Flavour was again quite weird, almost like cooked vegetables with some cinnamon and pepper added. Some caramel malts. Christmasbeer spices are in there, but seems like the beer never got balanced during the season when looking at sayravais rating.

Dark muddy brown, small tanned head, opaque color. Vegetables, leafs in the yeasty aroma ("old socks" I said first). Slightly roasted and chocolaty flavor. Dry, woody, certainly unfiltered. Easy to drink black lager.
