Description
Brasserie Galibier was founded in 2010 by Brice Le Guennec and Pierre-François Martin. They import their hops from the US. The Galibier brewery is the highest craft brewery in France (1450m). The water comes from the glacier de la Clapière, at the foot of the Galibier. Things are going well with the Galibier beer, there are now 4 people working next to their friends and the beer is also exported to Scotland and Belgium.

Boca 0.75L kupljena u Francuskoj naravno. Žuto jantarna boja sa nekih centimetar pjene. Aroma nije nešto jako izražena ali dovoljno. Po nekim citrusima. Okus isto ima karakteristične citrusne note. Osvježavajuća IPA

Bottled 330ml. -Nice pale amber coloured, minimal off-white head that went away rapidly, malty and slight hoppy nose. Toasted malt, pleasant hoppy and slight herbal with notes of fruits and caramel. Hint of tangerine in rather bitter finish. Nice amber ale but a bit too watery.

Bottled 330ml. -Murky orange coloured, small to medium sized white head, banana, apple and touch of vanilla sugar in the nose. Very pleasant nose. Interesting fruit cake (apple strudel) taste with mild wheaty yeasty notes. A bit short and weak finish but all in all nice beer.

Bottled 330ml. -Golden coloured, medium sized white head, very mild flowery nose. Moderate sweet malty, slightly flowery and grainy taste with notes of honey. Bitterish sweet finish. Not bad for newely opened brewery.

It’s so damn brilliant that we got to try these so soon after they opened! Brought to ogivlado by some friends of his from France (thanks!) Poured an odd shiny misty ochre body with a white head. Strong banana in the nose, some apple, actually reminded a lot me of a kind of porridge my mother makes from rolled oats, grated apples, slices of banana and lemon juice. The taste is humm, the same banana in the background. It’s grainy, some light chewed up bubblegum, very very light herbal notes and bitterness, relatively empty aftertaste though. There are some vague notes of "seaweed" that plagued the blonde, but thankfully not too noticable. Again, very interesting, unique (more German than Belgian, but hardly German too). Nice!

It’s so damn brilliant that we got to try these so soon after they opened! Brought to ogivlado by some friends of his from France (thanks!) Poured a golden body with a thick small white head. Odd, kinda stale dusty "washed-out", maybe even a bit sweaty nose. Didn’t like it all that much. The taste is ok, light, sweetish seaweed (to try to put some marker on that odd aroma found in the nose). Some grain, a bit dusty. Really, well, unique and not all that bad, but I just don’t dif it all that much. Dunno.
