Murky dark orange, small off-white head. Aromas develop slowly, first malts, then honey and something fruity, strawberry, orange and zest. Taste is bad: alcohol and some bitterness. Even though it’s strong, it fades quickly, to much alcohol. The worst from Vizir brewery I tried so far.

Clear golden, small head. It says on the label it should be hazy, but it’s not. Strong honey aromas, mild honey and tacos! Tastes like a honey brandy with less alcohol, honey is overwhelming, but alcohol is hidden. Medium lasting finish of honey sweetness. Some say it’s bad, but it passes for me.

Bottle, 0.33l. Pitch black color with thin creamy brown head and poor lacing. Strong aroma of roasted malt, coffee and dark chocolate. Taste starts with mild sweet roasted malt, following is sour grassy and coffeeish, mouthfeel is spicy, while finish is mild bitter. Light to medium body, thin texture and average carbonation in palate. Unfortunatelly, way too sour for a stout, resembles more of some average dunkel...

Bottle [from Secret Santa Europe 2015] @ weekly tasting shared with Joes and Judyvv. Opaque hazy light to medium orange color, medium sized white head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma is malts, some hops, lightly a hint of old hops, lightly butter. Taste malts, lightly hops, a hint of fruityness, again lightly butter, lightly bitter. Average to decent body, decent carbonation. Decent attempt, but needs some work I’d say.

Bottle or on tap (not sure) at Ljubljanski Festival Piva 2015. Shared with Marko. Darker golden coloured, small to off-white head, mint in the nose indeed. Sweet malty, minty, light caramel and notes of hops with slight herbal notes in the finish. Quite minty. Pleasant surprise indeed and good beer for sure.

Hazy amber, moderate strong creamy off white head. Aroma is caramel, malt, some alcohol some solvent, almost no hops. Taste is some malt, some herbal, very strong alcohol. Medium bitterness, astringent. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. This one had no sourness (yet) but it was just too alcoholic.

Amber colored, weak soapy white head. Aroma is sweet malt, some herbal honey, bit of acid. Moderate sweetness, malty flavor, honey, sourness and a lot of it. Light to medium bodied and carbonation. Seems like another Vizir sour ale...
