On tap at Cameral Beer Fest in Koper. Pours hazy golden color with light orange shades, thin creamy off-white head and nice lacing. Aroma of honey, floral hops, sweet malt and fruits. Taste starts with moderate sweet malt, followed by tasty honey sweetness which prevails over light bitterness at finish. Medium body, oily texture and soft carbonation in palate. I almost saw bees swimming in my glass :)

Re-rated: On tap at Cameral Beer Fest in Koper. Hazy dark brown color with thin creamy brownish head and fair lacing. Aroma is strong, mainly consists of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, mild coffee notes and dried fruits, Taste starts with dark chocolate and sweet roasted malt. Following is refreshing with dried fruits, molasses and mild coffee. Full body, thick texture and soft carbonation in palate. This time certainly not spoiled, everything completely in order... First Rating from 18.03.2013: Bottled, 0.50l. Hazy dark brown color with very thin frothy brownish head and lively bubbles. Aroma is strong, mainly consists of roasted malt, caramel and some earthy or even sweaty notes. I also noticed dry fruits, molasses and alcohol in the aroma. Taste starts fresh and sour fruity, followed by sweet molasses and mild roastiness, although sourness still prevails in the mouthfeel. Aftertaste is thicker malty, but no presence of hops, which I would guess it’s quite appropriate for the style, however, I would still prefer more hops. Medium body, slick texture and soft carbonation in palate. It was a great expectation, but only partial satisfaction. I might agree with Marko; I would expect such sourness in some sour / wild ale, but not here. Somethin wrong with that batch, too? Other characteristics are acceptable, but definitely need to re-rate it again to exclude spoiling factor.

Bottled at Patrick’s, Ljubljana. So there’s this hot new Slovenian micro and it does an imperial porter and I’m excited to try it and... And this. Opaque dark brown body with almost no head. Too vague sweet malty aroma... Ook... Disappointing but it can happen... And then then I tried it. Caramelly malt vs. sour cherry juice that gets taken over by green apples. A lot of green apples. It’s sour, likely infected. Not unpleasant but still... And it’s BB 5.5.2013! Damn.... I have to rerate it. Hope it’s, when not ruined like this, as ood as the other 3 people say.
