Bottled, thanks MarkoNm! Clear amber, small head. Rich herbal nose. Mid sweet with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Caramelly and herbal, mild and soothing. Low bitterness.

Pours a hazy light brown color, topped with a very decent off-white head, nice retention. Very pleasant caramel aroma, very biscuity and buttery. Some herbal notes. Taste starts sweet, with notes of caramel. Some moderate bitterness in the end with some herbal notes in the aftertaste. Another great brew from Carniola.

On tap at Brežice Beer Fest. Murky orange/ochre coloured, small off white head, light hoppy nose with hint of passion fruit. Sweetish malty, hoppy, slight dusty alcoholic and touch of spices with bitter fruity spicy finish. Light perfumed also. So far unbalanced but there’s big potential.

On tap at Brežice Beer Fest. Deep black coloured, medium sized beige head, caramel and whiff of tobacco in the nose. Roasted malt, caramel, milk chocolate and slight buttery. Some dark chocolate and hops in the finish. Very good stout...but unfortunately few days later had this one from the bottle bought on the same Fest which was (far) worse.

Bottled 500ml. -at Brežice Beer Fest. Hazy dark amber coloured, medium sized creamy off-white head, mild acidic Speculaas nose with a whiff of cinnamon. Sweet malty, again Speculaas and cinnamon with mild spicy hoppy notes. Nice one.

Brežice Beer Fest (almost a lost rate). Murky dark amber body with a good off white head. Aroma... something between Speculaas and ginger, only in gummi bear form. If that means anything... in any case, very pleasant indeed. The taste is a bit thin, peppery, cloves, something like that, vaguely sweet. Ah, it’s OK for a spice beer - the taste’s a mild disappointment after the aroma, but I’d have it again.

Brežice Beer Fest - seems it was first released here, thanks Jaša for pointing it out! Will add more details as soon as I find them out. Poured a dark, murky? amber if I remember correctly. Sweetish aroma hops blast, yeah, guess that’s Hüll Mellon for you... very pleasant. The taste is a spicy/peppery thing goint straight to the bitter blast, slightly beety. Ah, good first try I guess, but there’s plenty of room for improvement. Really glad to have tried it now!

Brežice Beer Fest. Poured a black body with a thick, lasting head. The aroma is initially a letdown, distinctly buttery, with some dark malts playing underneath. The taste, however, quickly erases all worries... Solid, caramelly malty backbone vs. roast... strangely enough seems more coffee than cocoa-like. A pleasant surprise and the best beer of their range I guess.

Brežice Beer Fest. Oooh man... to say that this looked like a yeast shot would be an insult to yeast shots everywhere. Incredible, opaque paaaaaaale brown body with a small white head. Ugh. The nose, however, saves the day (kinda) by offering a nice lemon rock candy character - not spectacular but welcome. The taste retains some of it, which is cool enough, but gives away some notes of beet too, quite watery. I WILL re-rate it in the future though. Rok seems to be a very cool, friendly guy and, like all other emerging micro brewers trying to experiments, deserves our support.

Bottle from Ljubljana, Slovenia. Pours dark brown with beige head. Roasted malty aroma. For some reason it’s sour. Probably something wrong with it.
