Hazy gold with a decent white head. Bright citrus with some peel. Sweet and juicy with a touch of almost sourness. Much better than expected.

Office Friday drink at Clearly, draught
Blond colour. It's sweetish, which adds some body too, better than some dry and weak Lager; it's mildly fruity, which is also appreciated, and the bitterness is not too low.
Simple; but I'm ok with this one.

Light Nanaimo bar kind of feel. Some chocolate and a little roast, some musk. Caramel. Bitter finish. Black pour with good head and lacing. Some coffee.

Can from Jak's Parkcrest, Burnaby
Pale blond colour, clean, with compact head, it looks like a glass of blond lager. The aroma is mildly lemony. Dry, lean, crisp; not much to say about the malt; baanced bitterness, with timid notes of grass and citrus peel.
Good hoppy lager.

473 ml can. Pours a clear amber with moderate head. Aromas of mangos, sweet pithy citrus, resin and soft toasted malts. Clean flavors follow same but with little finish. A good pub pounder.

Blonde colour, light haze and fine carbonation leading to a thick head. The aroma is pretty c-hop, some grapefruit and pine. The body is medium, with light sweetness and relatively low bitterness. There's some orange notes and a bit of pine. The yeast signature is pretty clean, and the malts slightly doughy. Not bad, though.

Clear gold body with modest foam. Aroma is weak caramel, taste is sweet caramel, ends smooth. Drinkable I guess but very boring.

473ml can. Pours a slightly hazy amber-copper with a medium, foamy, short lived, off-white head that laces nicely. Mild aroma of bready caramel malt, orange and piney hops. Sweet flavour of biscuit malt, caramel, orange, grapefruit, tropical fruit and piney hops in a dry, bitter finish. Medium body with a sticky, oily texture and average carbonation. Not bad, but a little too sugary for me.

473ml can. Pours a clear dark brown with red hue and a small, creamy, long lasting, tan head that laces nicely. Sweet aroma of bready caramel malt, plum, raisin, prune and dark chocolate. Sweet flavour of bready caramel malt, raisin, prune, date and brown sugar in a dry, mild bitter, warming booze finish. Full body with a sticky, oily texture and soft carbonation. More like an Imperial Porter, but still pretty tasty.
