Description
Behind Bendorf hides the name of a microbrewery. A microbrewery, or an urban craft beer factory, located in the Neudorf district, in the heart of Strasbourg! Founded at the beginning of 2013 by Benjamin Pastwa, the Bendorf brewery has continued to grow and this is how four people today ensure the proper functioning of the young company: Soizic, Félix, Matthieu and Benjamin . The goal of a brewery is of course to create, brew and then offer high quality beers with strong aromatic power for tasting. Our beers are generously hopped. At Bendorf, we love hops and we love working with it in all its forms.

Bottle. Hazy golden with medium sized white head. Very fruity at first with lemon, lime and apricot followed by a light touch of pine resin. Light dough and yeast but a bit subdued by the hops and pine. Light sweet with medium bitter middle and finish. Medium bodied with slight creamy feel. Quite good actually. I was not so impressed with the very hoppy wheat beers I've had before but here it works quite well.

Very dark brown with reddish hue and big beige head. Light smoked and roasted malts and nuts, tart red berries, dry cocoa and fresh brewed coffee. Light caramel and fudge. Light bitter finish with herbal and resinous hops. Medium to light bodied with thin feel. Pretty dry. Nice porter, the cocoa is a good addition and not too strong. Decent beer.
