Bottle. A small, dense, dark beige head forms over a clear, dark amber colored body. The aroma is pretty weak, with some dried fruits and caramel. Nutty hints and some chocolate. There’s a little bitterness in the flavor, with the same nutty, chocolatey touch found in the aroma. Caramel does most of the job though. Medium body and a soft carbonation. A touch of honey in the end. Pretty decent. 140117

Pours clear dark brown with a beige head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and chocolate. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long chocolate finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. A clear, amber colored beer topped by a dense, light beige head of moderate size. The aroma is lightly yeasty, with dried fruits and a touch of caramel. Lots of prunes and dried figs on the palate, some plums too. Medium body and a soft carbonation. A little bitterness in the finish too, with yeast and caramel. And dried fruits. Nothing impressive going on here. 140117
